Scenario no 1 :

Service Approach : A document merge of the relevant files shall be carried out in order to identify precisely where the changes have been made. Once this step has been completed the appropriate modifications shall be implemented in the divisional application.The prime criterion for qualifying a translation as being a good translation is for the reader to not have the slightest suspicion of it being a translation.
Reduced charges : In calculating the translation charges to be invoiced, only the paragraphs or sections in which there are changes to be made, as well as the processing time involved in omitting the unaffected paragraphs / sentences shall be taken into account at the applicable rates.

- Divisional application in PDF format.
- Parent document translation in MSWord format provided by client.
In this case we shall directly integrate the changes in the translation of the parent patent.
Applicable Charges : In calculating the charges to be invoiced, only the paragraphs or sections in which there are changes to be made shall be taken into account at the applicable translation rate.
Scenario no 3 :
- Original parent document in PDF format.
- Divisional application in PDF format.
- Parent document translation in MSWord format.
In this case a thorough review with careful comparison of the documents would need to be completed in order for us to determine the appropriate modifications to be implemented in the divisional application.
Applicable Charges : 30 % discount off the applicable translation rate. The final charges are inclusive of document review and added / modified text to be translated.
